Donate our most needed items for the bags. Bless a Baby relies 100% on donations for our monthly commitment of bags to the numerous public health facilities we serve in the wider Cape Town area. We have 4 different types of bags, each designed for a specific purpose, and we need to fill them all every month. To do that consistently, we need donations of our most needed items consistently, either in the form of products and clothing, or in the form of monetary donations that enables us to buy what we need every week.So how can you help?
If you work in an office, you and your colleagues can collect most needed items for our bags and deliver them to us, or send them by courier to our workroom.
If your company has a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme (CSR), please ask them to consider us as their beneficiary
If you're doing charity work for a school project, Scout badge, or social outreach, consider collecting essential items for Bless a Baby.
If your baby has outgrown their 0-3 and 3-6 month clothing, please donate it to us. We welcome clean, gently used clothing.
Add us as a beneficiary on your MySchool card at Woolworths. (https://www.myschool.co.za/)
Donate a once-off or recurring monthly amount via our many financial donation options (EFT/PayFast/SnapScan/QR Code)
Use your Knitting/Crochet skills to knit/crochet warm jerseys sets, blankets & soft toys for our bags.
Use your Sewing Skills and help us with sewing Bless a Baby bag
Use your network & connections to help us with donations & fundraising.
Become a drop-off point for Bless a Baby donations in your area. We don’t advertise your address but only contact you if we have a request for donations drop-offs near you.
Become a volunteer – give 2 hours every week in our workroom to help sort donation & pack bags.
